Included in this new release is integrated OpenMP support in compiler and runtime, multi-threaded OpenMP support in the upgraded Fx3 debugger and an improved IDE, which includes OpenMP control options plus several other new features. A new scheduler improves performance on 32-bit systems and new x64 optimizers improve performance on the latest multi-core AMD (Istanbul) and Xeon (Nehalem) processors.
